Intro
For: High-end car
I've been shooting cars for long enough to know that the real story is never the car.
It's what happens inside it. The backseat archaeology. The sandy footprints that somehow survive every vacuum. The headless dinosaur wedged behind the centre console that nobody can explain.
That's the brief here, and honestly, it's the kind of thing I'd pitch if left alone with a camera and a high-end car for a summer afternoon.
We're doing a visual and sensory study of summer as it exists in the parked car... the aftermath, the remnants, the evidence of a good time had by all.
It's about the car as a container for life, not a vehicle. And the challenge, which I'm absolutely here for, is to make shots of inanimate objects inside a stationary car feel as emotionally rich as any coming-of-age montage.
